snow is softly falling

A light, feathery snowfall, just perfect for the first snow of the season.  Everything feels hushed and blanketed.  Peaceful.

These two (Mama and her giant baby) have already had their breakfast, but I think they wouldn't turn down a pear or two.

See how feathery the snow is?

The bush looks mysterious but inviting at the same time.

Beauty in the everyday.  I hope you find some today.

I just lover everyday beauty. Isnt it funny how with just a little layer of snow, something so everyday becomes so ethereal?

Etheral beauty isn't it? The first snow is so lovely. But around here is almost is not a good thing, we don't get enough for people to remember how to drive in it.

The snow makes everything so much more beautiful! I just love it. We got a sprinkling yesterday and today it was glistening in the sunset at 15.15...

Love your pics!

I have been so busy this week, I don't have the usual time to stop and gawk.

But, the nice part of driving to the studio every day has been the short drive through the country to get to the highway. I go down a hilly road with bush on either side. In some places the bush is undisturbed by monster houses and sprawling bungalows, and it's gorgeous, all year round. I have to admire it at 60kmh but it's better than the visual bleakness on either side of the 400.

thanks for the pictures! (love mama and giant baby!)
