sunrise

It was -20C  this morning.  There is so much snow , so much frost, so much beauty.  And the light,...gorgeous.  But me?  All I could think about was coffee.  Lots and lots of really strong, hot, steaming coffee.  And doughnuts, loaded with sugar.

I am also thinking of the Inauguration, of course.  What an amazing day-I'll be watching (while sipping my hot coffee).   Idealism and hope.  Good for what ails ya.

That is a lovely lovely photo. And I'm watching the Inaguration....not with any expectations though. I believe change has to come from the people (us).

Beauty shot, yes and it does look cold.

Regarding the cutting garden, I always thought that they looked so messy, and disorganized, sad kind of. But these garden plots are on the side of the building, so they won't be too visible. So it is the perfect spot. Up on the deck, in front of our place, there will be nice containers of flowers also.

I love that gorgeous gorgeous photo! Coffee is good - and so is change. Have just watched the Inauguration - evening time here. I like the way Obama was tough, a bit low key, tough - and also that he INCLUDED all of those - those of us in other countries who are also affected by what the US does.

It's a tough burden - but you've got to start somewhere!

Beautiful shot...and appropriate for today. The dawn of a new era..and hopefully a promising one.

Stay warm!

A beautiful sunrise that started a beautiful, historical day!
Hard to believe winter can be so harsh at times...yet she really reveals so much beauty, too!
