blech

If whiteouts, howling winds, and cold weather warnings are your thing.......

Then baby, this is your day.  All that's missing is the sound of the moaning, whistling wind as it drives puffs of wet snow in your face and up your nose.  Just thought you'd like to know what's going on in these parts on this miser.., I mean, uh, .....bracing winter day.

Beautiful!

From a distance. Of thousands of miles. So that I can live where it snows once every couple of years.

Love your first picture!
Yes, my area is experiencing this arctic blast and it is not fun. Mother Nature is very bitter about something this winter!
Stay warm!

Oh - nasty to be out in a storm. But lovely to be nice and cosy and warm in front of a roaring fire.

If it is any consolation, and I suppose it would be a wry one, those are gorgeous shots.

They are print worthy shots, have them blown up, and framed.

On a hot summer day, take a good look and reflect at what you went through.....

Those pictures are beautiful. The first one is particularly cool! I have a similar one framed in my living room. I didn't take it, though.
I may sound crazy, but I'm missing the snow right now! I'm lucky in that it doesn't get too cold, rarely even below zero here, so it's not too miserable.

Your trees in the snow photo are just stunning.
The starkness is what makes it so special. Funny how winter can even be beautiful :)

I so wish we had some of that snow. The ground is so dry here this winter that it is turning to powder. Beautiful pics.
